Bird Watching Tour in Nepal

Bird watching in Nepal is interesting as well as adventurous program. We handle this program in Kathmandu valley itself whereas it is believed to have 265 species birds in an around places like Phulchowki. We can also make a special program to the Eastern Nepal in a place called Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve whereas it is believed to have 423 species birds.

Furthermore we can also concentrate our visit to Royal Bardia National park and Chitwan National park which offer 450 species of birds. These National Parks is also well known for other wildlife like four species of deer, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar & many other wildlife. The Chitwan National park is also well known for one horned Rhinoceros & it is a shelter for few Royal Bengal tigers. Besides this, Chitwan also supports a great variety of flora & fauna.

Day 01 / Day 02 / Day 03 / Day 04

Day 01Arrive at Kathmandu On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport you will be met by our representative who will take you to the hotel for the night. Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour After having breakfast you take a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You will visit many Buddhist and Hindu temples which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. In the afternoon you will be taken back to your Hotel. Day 03: Pulchoki and Godavari After Breakfast drive to Phulchoki and Godavari Botanical Garden for Bird Watching and Butterfly spotting. Return back to Kathmandu. O/N at Kathmandu Hotel. Day 04: Kathmandu to chitwan Drive to chitwan from Kathmandu. You are collected from the bus park/airport and taken to the resort for lunch. After lunch take a tour around the local Tharu village and then head to the Elephant Breeding Center where you can interact with baby elephants and learn about the captive breeding program. In the evening time take some rest and have dinner. After dinner enjoy the Cultural program and dance.

Day 05 / Day 06 / Day 07

Day 05: In Chitwan Get a wake up call and then take your Breakfast. After breakfast take a Canoeing trip down the river followed by a Jungle walk back to the resort. Take your lunch and then you have time for Rest, swimming or tennis, In the afternoon take an Elephant Safari inside the park where you can spot rhinos, deer, bird life and if you are lucky a tiger or two. Dinner and rest and relax listening to the night time jungle sounds. Day 06: Chitwan to koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Early wakeup and go for a bird watching walk around the area. Return to the resort for your breakfast then prepare for departure for Koshi Tappu Wildlife reserve. Arriving Biratnagar Airport someone will meet you and drive you to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp. You will have Bird watching on foot in the near by surroundings of the Park with our resident naturalist. Rest and refresh before dinner. O/n at Camp. Day 07: In Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Wake up call. Morning nature walk around the surrounding park areas accompanied with a guide. After breakfast, take a raft trip down the Sapta Koshi River with your nature guide to view some of the water birds, water buffaloes, dolphins and various water habitats. End boat trip by the bank of river and have a picnic lunch. Short drive to the Koshi Barrage to view some bird-life and fresh water Dolphins. Late afternoon return to the camp where you can relax and refresh before dinner. O/n at Camp.

Day 08 / Day 09

Day 08: Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve to Bardia National Park Wake up call. Take a last walk around the area looking for birds and other wildlife. Return to your camp and pack up ready to depart. After breakfast you are driven back to the Biratnagar Airport and you will further proceeds to Bardia National Park. On Your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport our staff will receive you. You will then be transferred to Bardia Jungle Cottage where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programs for the day, your room will then be allocated to you. You will have Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. O/n at Bardia. Day 09: In Bardia National Park During this day you will have an excellent opportunity to see Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, amber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Nilgai or Bull, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. After lunch Jungle walks. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and other wildlife, you will be accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful. Tharu cultural dance and O/n at Bardia.

Day 10 / Day 11 / Day 12

Day 10: In Bardia National Park After Breakfast. You will have an excellent opportunity to see many species of birds found in Bardia and also you will have opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. O/n at Bardia. Day 11: Bardia National Park to Kathmandu After breakfast visit to the crocodile breeding center and search for water birds along the way. After lunch drive to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu. Day 12: Departure We will transfer you to Airport for your onward destination.
